Why should you trust your business to me?
Being the son of a web designer and of the first generation to grow up with social media, I have been tinkering around with online social media profiles and websites for basically my entire life. In my early years, there was MySpace, Bebo & YouTube before Facebook & Twitter took the world by storm. Later on came Instagram, Vine, Tumblr and the latest craze; TikTok. I’ve been there for the whole journey and ran accounts on all of them.
As a creative freelancer in the music and art industries, promoting myself on social media has always been vital to everything that I do. From playing in bands and DJing to freelancing my illustration services, running record labels and promoting events; all of these projects have required me to grow online profiles with the use of websites and social media. This has amounted to almost two decades of experience in managing and growing web pages for various creative projects.
At university, I achieved degrees in music production and technology as well as a Master’s in teaching. I am still regularly involved with music but found teaching in the traditional sense to be the wrong career path for me. It was here, however, that I discovered my passion for helping others. There is no more fulfilling feeling than being of genuine use to someone; solving a problem for them that would otherwise go unsolved.
After a stint of working in manual labour, I eventually found myself exacerbating an underlying physical condition and was forced to leave my job due to health concerns. It was here that the idea of starting my own business really came to life. If I could create a scenario where my work was no longer detrimental to my health, but also where I could utilise my natural interests, knowledge and skills in order to help others and earn an honest living; then I would be on to a sure winner.
The result is the service you see before you now. The accumulation of decades of experience in running social media pages and digital marketing, an academic background in creative arts and teaching, and a strong desire to earn my living by helping others.
