Portfolio

Soon, the best proof you will have of my abilities will be the social media pages for this very business, however, I have just started and these things take time. While you wait, here is an overview of social media pages I have been managing for years previous…

Mungk (Music Producer & DJ)

For my music, I run perhaps the widest range of social media pages. This is because I not only have pages to promote what I do, but also pages on more specialised platforms for showcasing and distributing music/audio.

In addition, these pages run a lot of video content as I also create tutorials for people learning to make music themselves. This aligns well with my audience and allows me to generate more engaging content that keeps my accounts active even when I have nothing new to announce.

Matt Does An Art (Freelance Digital Artist & Illustrator)

Being a visual art form, I predominantly focus on using Instagram to promote my illustrations as this platform is the most suitable for displaying visual information. Here, I post the work that I do for clients and regularly create new posts advertising my services and rates.

I also create time lapse videos of myself drawing which are posted as short-form videos across my Instagram & Facebook pages. Again, these help to keep my audience engaged, even when the business is experiencing a quiet period without much to post about.

In the past, I have also ran online shops to sell my art through third-party websites such as Etsy, Shopify, Bigcartel & more.

SND SYSTM CLTR (Record Label)

With my record label, I focus on Soundcloud & Bandcamp as these platforms are most suitable for promoting music; particularly in the specific genres that I release.

While Facebook & Instagram are the most popular/common options for most businesses, you may find that your particular industry and target audience could dictate the platforms you chose to focus on.

I do still use Facebook & Instagram for the label in order to drive more traffic to its music pages. Content on these pages is mostly made up of short-form videos made with a music visualiser.
